Kraut & Frankfurter Bake

Serves 4


2 cups sauerkraut, drained

2 medium apples, cored and diced

1 teaspoon caraway seeds

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Pepper to taste

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

8 frankfurters


In shallow 9″ x 12″ baking pan, combine kraut, apples, caraway seeds, cloves and pepper. Add butter; stir to mix well. Arrange frankfurters on top. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.
